Philosophy

We're not chasing power-law returns. We're building enduring value.

Our philosophy is grounded in finding and supporting exceptional companies across both private and public markets — with care, conviction and a long-term mindset.

01Private markets

Backing companies at the inflection point

We invest with conviction at the point where companies are poised to scale — when product-market fit has been proven, the team is strong and the market is large, but the next phase of growth still needs to be unlocked.

We're active partners, not just board members. Whether it's shaping strategy, unlocking offshore growth or hiring the next executive, we work side-by-side with founders to turn inflection into acceleration.

What we look for

  1. 01

Large, growing markets with real potential for international expansion.

  2. 02

Validated product-market fit seen in customer retention, not just headline metrics.

  3. 03

Exceptional founders with the clarity and ambition to build category-defining businesses.

  4. 04

A defensible edge through product, distribution, data or execution.

  5. 05

Attractive, sustainable margins with a credible path to operating leverage.

02Listed markets

Investing in enduring companies

In listed markets we take a disciplined, analytical approach — grounded in fundamentals, guided by long-term vision. We look for companies that can compound in value over many years.

We're drawn to founder-led or founder-inspired businesses with a clear mission and the discipline to avoid short-term distractions — and we're patient while the gap between price and intrinsic value closes.

Structural advantages we seek

  1. 01

Network effects where value grows with adoption.

  2. 02

Scale economies where unit economics improve with size.

  3. 03

Customer captivity driven by trust, habit or switching costs.

  4. 04

Proprietary technology or IP that is hard to replicate.

  5. 05

Efficient scale in niche markets dominated by a few players.

  6. 06

Process power where superior operations sustain performance.

  7. 07

Counter-positioning that incumbents struggle to respond to.

03AI, across everything

AI changes the speed, not the fundamentals

AI isn't a separate strategy for us. It's a lens we apply to every company we look at, private or listed.

We expect AI-native businesses to be built with far less capital, and to scale much faster than the generation before them. That changes how early a company can reach its inflection point, and how much capital it needs to get there.

What it doesn't change is what makes a business enduring. An AI-native company still needs a large market, real product-market fit, exceptional founders, a defensible edge and sustainable margins. When software becomes cheaper to build, distribution, proprietary data and customer trust matter more, not less.

In listed markets we ask the same question in reverse: which moats does AI strengthen, and which does it erode?

Questions we ask

  1. 01

Is AI core to the product, or a feature bolted on?

  2. 02

Does the business get smarter with use, building on its own customers and data?

  3. 03

How much capital does it really need to reach scale?

  4. 04

What stops someone else building it, whether a well-funded competitor or the AI model providers themselves?

  5. 05

For established businesses, does AI deepen the moat or wear it away?

Fewer bets, more time, and real skin in the game.

Every company we back matters deeply to us. Our goal is not to trade, but to own great businesses.
